Seatposts

Most common are seat posts with a diameter of 25.4 mm. In the past, 22.2 mm diameter posts were often used. In general, the seat post can be shortened to the needed length with a simple metall saw - however, the minimum insertion depth of approx. 5 cm should always be observed. Aluminium seat posts are much lighter than those made of steel.
