The Q-Axle-system has a 24 mm axle which on the one hand allows to drill it more hollow (lighter) and on the other hand still makes it more rigid. Furthermore, the crank is no more pressed on a conic axle - that wears (like with ISIS), it is precisely posionted with the golden-cap on the same place – and then clampled. This way, the axle and crank-connection does not wear and the position of the crank stays constant.
The ZeroQ-Axle series were developed for those extreme riders asking for the most solid and robust material available. That's why we made them out of 7050 aluminum and steel pedal inserts. The approved ZeroQ-design steps now towards Q-Axle.
