We are proud to present the new QU-AX “Mael” cranks – named after Mael Robert, with whom we developed these cranks. They allow a relatively quick adjustment from 105 to 145 mm in 2 mm increments.
The Q-Axle system has more than proven itself – with the Mael cranks, we now dare to introduce a type of crank that has never been made before in the unicycle world!
The 7075 aluminum crank itself is CNC-milled and has a steel slider that allows the crank length to be adjusted in 2 mm increments from 105 mm to 145 mm using a 6 mm Allen key.
The steel insert is quite solid, bringing the total weight to 632 g (pair of cranks). The left slider is marked with a dot on the back to identify it as the one with the left-hand thread.
Due to the delicate aluminum body, we recommend these cranks for long-distance riding and touring, where such an adjustment range is needed, and not for trials or jumps/drops!
